20/07 Meeting with Vice-President Ansip in charge of the Digital Single Market

Half-way through his mandate, Andrus Ansip, Vice-President for the Digital Single Market is happy to discuss with the Press Club members, the progress of the Digital Single Market strategy as well as what new initiatives the Commission has planned. As you know from the mid-term review of the Digital Single Market strategy, we can expect also the second half of the year to be filled with digital stories, which is additionally enhanced by the Estonian Presidency’s ambitious plans.

The overview meeting is planned ahead of the summer break because already as of September we can expect more concrete steps related to digital policies.
