With 47 millions tourists per year, Paris is the most visited city in the world.

A new trend has been seen during these past few years and a good part of travel lovers would agreed : Do we really want to be seen as tourists ?

I’m pretty sure that the answer is no. And what is the first thing a tourist does in the city of gastronomy : EAT.

Unfortunately a lot of restaurants are « traveler catchers », which means that they are usually huge, with a long menu, grumpy waiters and expensive prices. And the worst part of it is, the food is not good…

The objective here is to suggest great food places from breakfast to diner, and where you can have a beautiful walk afterwards.

If you are going to walk all day you will need a healthy and energetic breakfast, and that will be at Season Café, near Place de la République.

Cosy and luminous, this restaurant offers great coffee and cold press juices, but also amazing granolas with fresh fruits and avocado toasts. For the ones with big appetite, you have to taste their pancake tower topped with bacon, pecan nuts and mapple syrup.

After that you can walk in the famous Marais neighborhood near by, where you can find little boutiques, museums, art galleries and the beautiful Place des Vosges.

For lunch I really encourage you to discover this hidden restaurant, in the middle of a patio shared with a dance school : Grand Cœur.

The inside looks like an old barn decorated with modern furniture, dominated by an amazing bar.

The brazilian head chef, Rafael Gomes, cooks only fresh products with amazing flavours. The lamb dish and the passion fruit desert are a must !

Head until the Hôtel the Ville, the city hall of Paris, and cross the bridge to join Notre Dame Cathedral. Explore the neighborhood and make a break at Dose Cafe in the amazing Mouffetard street.

Not very french so far would you tell me ?

My last adress for the day would be Au Petit Sud Ouest. Their cuisine is from the south of France, foie gras and duck being the specialty of this amazing place. For a lighter and vegetarian option, their piperade, sort of ratatouille, is a great choice !

End this beautiful day by walking until the Eiffel Tower and wait for it to sparkle…

And remember, wherever you are, la vie est belle !
