Philippe Brodzki, a well known Belgian sculptor of Polish descent, born in Belgium in 1952, was trained in sculpture, ceramics and drawing in Brussels, Cracow and Düsseldorf. In Belgium he worked in the 70s with Marcel Broodthaers a Belgian poet, filmmaker and artist, and attended a training course with Joseph Beuys, German happening, and performance artist as well as a sculptor, installation artist, graphic artist, art theorist, and pedagogue.
